BBC's Nesting Basket for the Lake Wales Choices
Pregnancy Care Center
The Choices Pregnancy Care Nesting Gift Basket is a simple but meaningful way our church family can come alongside new mothers with love and practical support. Through this program, we invite members to donate essential baby items such as clothing, diapers, formula, blankets, and other necessities that help a mother prepare for her newborn.
Each donated item becomes part of a thoughtfully assembled “nesting” gift basket—designed to ease the burden of those first weeks and remind mothers that they are not alone. These baskets are distributed through Choices Pregnancy Care to women who may be facing challenging circumstances, offering both encouragement and tangible care.
By participating in this ministry, our church has the opportunity to reflect Christ’s compassion in a very real way—meeting physical needs while pointing to the greater hope found in Him. Whether you give one item or many, your generosity helps create a warm and welcoming start for both mother and child.

Church Business Meeting
The goal of our church business meeting is to bring together members and leaders to discuss and make decisions about how the church is run, its finances, and everyday activities and operations. These meetings are key to keeping everything transparent and giving the congregation a voice in important decisions.
All of Bethel Baptist Church's business meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 5:00pm. The agenda begins with reports from Officers and MTLs, and the status of our “Missions” projects. Then, and any unfinished business from previous meetings will be addressed, followed by new business which the membership desires to bring before the church. The meeting concludes with a look out at the next 6 months of church programming. Minutes of last month's Church Business meeting are available in the vestibule.
Memorial Day Remembrance Service
This Memorial Day, we invite you and your family to join us for a special time of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude as we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Together, we will pause to remember their sacrifice, give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy, and seek God’s comfort and hope. Through meaningful music, Scripture, and a message of encouragement, we aim to honor both the fallen and the families who carry their legacy.
